Our Team

Watts Up Solar Ltd, operating as K Jones Electrical, was established 2010. Kevin's father began his business in 1969 in the Wealden area, gradually building a strong clientele. Kevin started his apprenticeship with David in 1987, working alongside his father for six years before seeking management experience elsewhere. After David semi-retired, Kevin took over the business, expanding solar installations in 2008, and continues to offer both solar and electrical services today.

Andy joined the team as an apprentice and has become a qualified electrician, specializing in CCTV and solar installations, making him a valued member of the staff. Kevin's son, Louis, began his apprenticeship 2014 and is also a qualified electrician, contributing significantly to the team. Kevin's sister, Sue, joined 2015, handling administration tasks and providing essential support to Kevin, proving to be an asset to the business.

As a Christian-based company, we prioritize honesty in all our operations. Our electricians deliver high-quality work to exceptional standards, and we ensure that all staff are qualified in various areas, from administration and health & safety to electrical and solar installations. Staying updated with the latest regulations and training is important to us and customers.

We are proud to be accredited by NICEIC, the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting, a respected organization that regulates training and practices for electrical contractors across the UK.

We use Checkatrade to reassure our customers; all approved tradesmen undergo 12 rigorous checks, ensuring trust and verified qualifications.

Additionally, we are accredited members of HIES a Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) approved Consumer Code, dedicated to protecting and educating consumers in home energy product installations.

Finally, our MCS certification for Solar PV installations signifies our commitment to quality, demonstrating that we consistently meet industry standards for product and installation reliability.
